Deann Sonoda

Deann is vice president of marketing and communications at Blumberg Capital. Based in San Francisco, she brings nearly two decades of experience helping tech brands, from startups through the Fortune 100, grow through strategic marketing and communications.

Prior to joining Blumberg Capital, Deann led global corporate communications at Zinier, a Series C funded B2B startup, in the intelligent automation space. Before that, she led global communications at RocketSpace, a startup campus and corporate innovation consultancy, served as the in-house PR lead for AT&T’s digital search and advertising business, and managed media relations for dozens of Silicon Valley tech companies while on the agency side.

Deann was born and raised on Maui and is an alumni of Santa Clara University.
