Director Of Firmware Engineering at Blur Product Development

Kyle Matthews has gained extensive work experience in the field of firmware engineering, hardware design, and research and development. Kyle started their career at Duke University as a Research and Development Engineer, where they were involved in designing test fixtures, data acquisition systems, and miniaturized wearable devices for concussion and mTBI research. Kyle also provided guidance for student projects. Following that, they co-founded MVTrak, where they served as the Head of Hardware and Firmware Development. In this role, they oversaw the design, prototyping, and production of the MV1 head impact data acquisition system. Kyle managed the production pipeline for manufacturing. Currently, Kyle is the Director of Firmware Engineering at Blur Product Development, where they are responsible for the complete hardware design and firmware development for various client projects. Kyle has also contributed to creating novel technologies resulting in multiple patents.

Kyle Matthews attended Duke University from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biomedical Engineering.
