Petek Sener is a skilled R&D Software Engineer with experience in developing frontend software using ReactJS for ultrasound devices at MicroElastic Ultrasound Systems. Previously, Petek worked as a Teaching Assistant at Duke University, where they guided first-year engineering students through design projects focused on medical devices. Additionally, as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Duke University, Petek created LabVIEW VI to control a micromanipulator and developed MATLAB code for image analysis. They also have experience as a Summer Intern at Engineering World Health, where they fixed medical equipment at a hospital in Rwanda. Petek holds a Master of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering.
