Tracy López Aristizábal

Tracy López Aristizábal is a UX/Testing Lead at Blutag. Prior to their current position, they worked as an In House Counsel for Grupo SM from September 2011 to January 2013, where they were responsible for drafting and reviewing legal documents, such as licensing agreements with authors, illustrators, and publishers. Additionally, they were responsible for drafting & negotiating commercial agreements of sale, distribution, and service. Tracy also handled and solved issues concerned with obtaining or licensing copyrights, trademarks or other related IP agreements (reproduce, distribute, display or prepare derivate works). Furthermore, they assisted in process development and streamlining activites to improve IP department effectiveness.

From January 2018 to December 2019, Tracy worked as an IP Paralegal for Myers Wolin, LLC. In this role, they provided support to the attorneys in all aspects of intellectual property law, including patent prosecution, trademark prosecution and litigation.

Prior to Myers Wolin, LLC, Tracy worked as a Paralegal for NPZ Law Group, LLC. from January 2018 to March 2018. In this role, they provided support to the attorneys in all aspects of intellectual property law, including patent prosecution and trademark prosecution.

Tracy began their career as an Intellectual Property Attorney for AIE Sociedad de Artistas Intérpretes o Ejecutantes de España from May 2011 to September 2011. In this role, they were responsible for handling the Trademark portfolio effectively and provided legal support with trademark applications, oppositions, prosecution, and litigation.

Tracy López Aristizábal studied at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, where they obtained an LL.M. in Intellectual Property Law. Tracy also holds an ABA Certificate Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies from Bergen Community College and a Doctor of Law - JD from Universidad Pública de Navarra. Finally, they studied Giurisprudenza at Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna.
