Frank Blythe

Frank Blythe, along with his brother, Jack, are continuing the family tradition in the construction industry which started in the 1920's. After working in the family business in the late 1960's, 1970's and 1980's, they formed Blythe Development in 1989 to focus on providing first class service in construction infrastructure. High quality work performed in a timely manner and at a competitive price has been the foundation of the company. In 1994, the brothers created Blythe Brothers Asphalt Company to further enhance the capabilities and provide a full service site work package which includes asphalt production. Today the companies annually perform over $230 million of site work and roadway construction, employ over 900 employees and utilize over 350 major pieces of heavy construction equipment. They have been ranked in the top 100 largest privately held corporations in NC for the past 13 years and continues to climb. The Blythe brothers pride themselves in maintaining a family atmosphere within the company and responding to and treating their employees well so they can continue developing the end product in a quality manner.
