Bas van der Heijden

Bas van der Heijden is an experienced managing consultant specializing in the social domain, currently employed at BMC since January 2017. With a strong background in sports policy, health promotion, and community well-being, Bas has held various roles including project leader for the enhancement of social foundations in Almelo and interim team leader for sports activation in Eindhoven. Prior to BMC, Bas worked at NOC*NSF, contributing to strategic collaborations between sports and education, and managing projects in sport participation. Bas holds a Master of Science in Sport Policy and Management from Utrecht University and a Bachelor of Science in Sports Science from HAN University of Applied Sciences.
