Elodie Dowling

Elodie Dowling currently serves as the Corporate Vice President and EMEA General Counsel at BMC Software, a position held since April 2006, where responsibilities include leading the EMEA Legal department and overseeing the Data Privacy Office. With a track record in managing teams and budgets, Elodie has effectively handled various legal matters, including contract negotiations, corporate litigation, and strategic data privacy initiatives. Previously, in the role of Regional Vice President for EMEA Legal, Elodie successfully negotiated binding corporate rules with the French Data Protection Agency. Elodie's legal career began at CA Technologies France, and academic credentials include an LL.M. from Tulane University Law School and a D.E.A. from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne.
