Paolo Icario

Paolo Icario is a seasoned tax accounting professional with extensive experience in multinational corporations. Currently serving as Group Manager for Tax Accounting & Compliance at BME - Building Materials Europe since January 2022, Paolo previously held managerial roles at EY from September 2012 to January 2022, where responsibilities included assisting audit teams and advising clients on tax calculations. Paolo's career began at EY in various capacities, including Tax Intern and Junior Assistant, following a strong educational foundation in Fiscal Economics from Maastricht University and additional studies at The University of Western Australia. In addition to a successful career in tax accounting, Paolo has a passion for coaching, having trained field hockey teams for girls under 18 and under 16 at THC Hurley.
