Sean McLeod

Sean McLeod is a seasoned information technology and security professional with extensive experience in leadership roles, particularly in IT security and compliance. Currently serving as Group Director IT Security and Compliance and CISO at Building Materials Europe since September 2023, Sean has held notable positions such as CISO for Retail Banking and CISO for Challengers and Growth Markets at ING from February 2020 to September 2023. Prior experience includes serving as Group Information Security and Risk Officer at SHV Energy, Manager Governance, Risk and Compliance, and various managerial roles at Long View Systems, where responsibilities encompassed governance, risk management, and privacy oversight. Earlier career phases include significant roles at Unisys as a Senior Systems Analyst and various technical consultant positions from 1998 to 2004. Sean holds an MBA from the University of Liverpool and has a technical education from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
