Carl Peters

Carl Peters has extensive work experience in the scientific field. Carl started their career at UCSF as a Postdoctoral Fellow from July 2000 to July 2003. Carl then worked as an Adjunct Faculty at Roosevelt University, teaching introductory biology courses from August 2004 to May 2006. Carl also worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Northwestern University from August 2003 to June 2006.

In 2006, Carl joined Washington State University as a Clinical Assistant Professor. In this role, they taught a Biochemistry lab and provided lectures on various laboratory techniques from January 2007 to July 2011. Carl also conducted research as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the lab of Mary Hunzicker-Dunn, studying signal transduction pathways in granulosa cells from July 2006 to August 2007.

Carl briefly worked as an Adjunct Faculty at Washington State University in April 2012, creating presentations and overseeing laboratory assistants in a teaching lab. Carl also worked as a Content Reviewer at Sophia Learning from June 2012 to November 2012.

Currently, Carl is employed at BMG LABTECH, where they started in December 2012 as a Senior Application Scientist. In this role, they are responsible for writing application notes, generating presentations for webinars and meetings, and validating BMG microplate readers for assay performance. Carl has recently been promoted to the position of US Applications Science Director, starting in April 2023.

Carl Peters holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Hastings College, which they completed from 1989 to 1993. Subsequently, they pursued a PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology at Northwestern University from 1993 to 1999.
