Alan Lazar is a seasoned composer and music producer with extensive experience in the entertainment industry. As co-founder and producer at BMG Production Music US, Alan has played a pivotal role in the Luminary Scores label since April 2021. Additionally, Alan has been a music composer for Netflix since April 2016, contributing scores to films such as "Princess Switch: Switched Again," "Holiday In The Wild," and "America's Most Hated Woman." Previously, Alan held significant positions, including Senior Director of Catalog Music at STX Entertainment and Head of Lalela Music, overseeing operations and creative direction for production music libraries. As an author, Alan published the novel "ROAM" through Atria Books, and has composed music for various television projects, including "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" and "Sex and The City." Alan holds an MFA in Film Production from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of the Witwatersrand.
