Winfried Meier

Winfried Meier serves as the Executive Board member and Chief Sales Officer at Bayerische Milchindustrie eG since July 2019, overseeing a cooperative with a turnover of 751 million euros and 1,100 employees involved in whey and milk-based ingredients, cheese, and regional fresh dairy products. Previously, Winfried held various leadership roles at Arla Foods amba from October 2012 to April 2019, including Group Vice President and Managing Director for Germany, where Winfried was accountable for a total turnover of 1.4 billion euros across several markets. Winfried's extensive experience includes board memberships in various dairy associations, non-executive roles in industry-related organizations, and leadership positions in several prominent dairy companies. Academic credentials include a Diplom-Ingenieur in Agriculture from Paderborn University and participation in leadership programs at IMD and London Business School.
