Dr. Rinki Varindani Desai is a highly experienced clinician and leader in the field of speech-language pathology, currently serving as the Co-Founder and COO of the Swallowing Training and Education Portal (STEP) since 2018, where the organization has impacted thousands of clinicians in managing swallowing disorders. Dr. Desai also leads Theratactix as Founder and Digital Health Consultant, providing strategic consulting to healthtech and edtech companies. As a Research Associate at the MGH Institute of Health Professions, contributions are focused on improving management for patients with neurodegenerative diseases. Additionally, roles include term lecturer on leadership in interprofessional teams and scientific reviewer for BMJ Digital Health & AI Journal.
