Kathy Atkinson has extensive experience in marketing management, primarily within the publishing sector. Currently serving as a Marketing Manager for Strategic Marketing at BMJ since November 2020, Kathy oversees the marketing of various journals and is responsible for the direction of open access marketing initiatives. Previous roles include positions at UCL Press, Emerald Publishing, and John Wiley and Sons, where Kathy managed teams and led key marketing projects that contributed to industry accolades. Kathy's educational background includes a BA (Hons) in English and American Literature from Keele University.
