Kathy Short

Kathy Short is an accomplished human resources executive with extensive experience in leading strategic HR initiatives within the financial sector. Currently serving as Managing Director and Head of HR for North American Commercial Bank at BMO Financial Group since August 2020, Kathy oversees a team of HR Business Partners to implement HR solutions aligned with business strategies. Prior to this role, Kathy held key positions at BMO Harris Bank, including Director of Human Resources Business Partner and Vice President of Change Management, where strategic change initiatives were developed to enhance customer experience. Kathy's career began at LaSalle Bank, where responsibilities included delivering HR services and advising senior management on various people-related issues. Kathy holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Change Management Certificate from Cornell University.
