Suraj Lidder is a seasoned information security and data protection expert with extensive experience at BMO since January 2008, currently serving as Director of Structured Data Protection. Suraj has held various roles, including Senior Manager Data Protection and Data Protection Lead, focusing on Data Loss Prevention (DLP) strategy and infrastructure. Prior to BMO, Suraj worked at Microsoft as a Support Engineer, specializing in Active Directory support and advanced troubleshooting. With a solid educational background featuring a Post-Graduation in IT from the University of Ballarat and a Master's in Microbiology and Information Systems from Guru Nanak Dev University, Suraj possesses a comprehensive understanding of IT health, server and network security, and change management processes. Key strengths include proficiency in Windows Server platforms, Microsoft System Center tools, and ITIL processes.
