Vice President - Catastrophe Analytics at BMS Group

Ryan Vesledahl has extensive work experience in the field of catastrophe analytics. Ryan is currently a Vice President at BMS Group, where they specialize in catastrophe analytics. Prior to this, Ryan worked at Guy Carpenter as a Catastrophe Modeler for four years. Before joining Guy Carpenter, they worked at Willis Towers Watson as a Senior Catastrophe Model Analyst. Ryan also has experience as an Economics Graduate Research & Teaching Assistant at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and as an Economics & Statistics Student Tutor at Concordia College.

Ryan Vesledahl holds a Master's Degree in Economics from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, which they obtained from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics, Spanish, and Mathematics at Concordia College from 2010 to 2014. Additionally, they spent some time in 2013 studying Spanish Language and Literature at Universitat d'Alacant. Ryan has also obtained multiple certifications in various fields such as cloud technology, data analysis, visualization, and Python programming from institutions like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Alteryx, IBM, Coursera, and universities like the University of Michigan and the University of California, Davis.
