Irina Obushtarova is a dynamic professional with extensive experience in supporting and promoting entrepreneurship within Central and Eastern Europe. Currently serving as a Startup Mentor at DEA - Dare. Empower. Accelerate. and as a Co-founder & Brand Strategist at Storytelling Studio, Irina is committed to empowering women entrepreneurs and creating strong international brands. As Co-founder & CEO of The Recursive, Irina focuses on enhancing the visibility of innovators in the region's tech and startup ecosystems. Additionally, Irina holds multiple roles that amplify Bulgaria's tech landscape, including Ecosystem Ambassador for #BreakingGrounds, Responsible Leader for the BMW Foundation Herbert Quandt, and member of the Management Board at D2XCEL. With a background in IT consultancy at Trivadis and a degree in Communications from the University of Vienna, Irina has built a wide-ranging skill set that bridges technology, storytelling, and mentorship.
