Maya Volwahsen

Maya Volwahsen currently serves as Head of Insights and Program Manager for INVEST at the BMW Foundation Herbert Quandt, focusing on strategy development. In parallel, Maya holds the position of Head of Insights at RESPOND, leading collaborations with sustainability thought leaders, managing partnerships, and contributing to strategy development and publications in areas such as Tech for Good and Circular Economy. Previously, Maya was a Senior Program Manager at RESPOND, overseeing program development and entrepreneur engagement. Earlier professional experience includes roles at KPMG Deutschland as Assistant Manager in Data & Analytics, and Deutsche Bank in Macroeconomic Research, along with research positions at Università Bocconi and LMU Munich. Maya holds a Master of Science in Economic and Social Sciences from Università Bocconi and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Technische Universität Berlin, with additional studies at KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
