Omid Tak

Omid Tak has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Omid most recently worked at BMW Group Financial Services Canada as the Manager of Business Intelligence & Data Management. In this role, they reported to the Director of Sales & Marketing and collaborated with various leaders to provide data-driven reporting and analytics. Omid was responsible for developing and maintaining the Data Governance Program and implementing data governance policies and procedures.

Prior to this, Omid worked at BMW Group as the Data & Analytics Manager, where they worked closely with business leaders to implement data-driven reporting and analytics. Omid also managed a team responsible for data processing, modeling, reporting, dashboarding, and analysis. Before that, Omid held the position of Business Performance Analyst at BMW Group, where they developed and tracked key metrics, automated reporting and data processing solutions, and managed data pipelines to support decision-making.

Between their roles in BMW, Omid worked at Nimbus Water Systems Inc as the Technology Manager. In this position, they led the company's technological development, including network, communication, web, marketing, and IT infrastructure. Omid successfully implemented a field service management software solution to improve customer experience and integrated data to enhance communication, leading to improved customer satisfaction.

Prior to Nimbus Water Systems Inc, Omid worked at Arshon Technology Inc. as an Electrical Engineer. Omid was responsible for designing electronics hardware and software and overseeing the entire product design process. Omid also served as a Web Developer/IT Specialist at Nimbus Water Systems Inc, where they developed a water leak detection system and designed electronic leak detectors and filter monitors.

Omid began their career at Quest Language Studies as a Software Application Developer/Web Developer, where they designed and developed software applications to streamline business processes. Omid also managed relational databases and maintained the internal client-server network infrastructure.

Prior to their MBA, Omid obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Electrical Engineering from Ryerson University, which they completed from 2003 to 2007. Omid also holds a Diploma in Applied Information Technology with a focus on Web Page, Digital/Multimedia, and Information Resources Design, which they acquired from the Canadian College of Business and Computers between 2000 and 2001.
