Dani also has experience in the insurance industry, where they worked at PT Asuransi Jiwasraya (Persero) in different capacities. Dani served as the Department Head of Capital Market Operation, Head of the General and Finance section, and also worked as a General and Finance Staff and Operation Staff.
Before entering the finance and insurance sectors, Dani gained experience in the hospitality industry, specifically in F&B. Dani worked as the Head BAR at Black Canyon Coffee and as a Barista at The Sumatera Co.

Dani Syahputra earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Universitas Sumatera Utara from 2008 to 2012. In 2021, they started pursuing a Master's degree in Accounting and Business/Management at Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
Dani Syahputra has obtained several certifications throughout their education and career. In 2015, they earned a Brevet A/B certification from Padyangan School of Tax. In 2019, they obtained the Register Negara Akuntan certification from Pusat Pembinaan Profesi Keuangan and the Chartered Accountant certification from Ikatan Akuntan Indonesia. Furthermore, in 2020, they obtained the ASEAN CPA certification from ACPACC (The ASEAN Chartered Professional Accountant Coordinating Committee). Most recently, in 2023, Dani obtained the Certificates Sustainability for Finance (CertSF) from ACCA.

BNI Asset Management, formerly an investment management arm of BNI Securities, had been an Indonesian licensed investment management company since October 1995, making it one of investment management pioneers in the nation. PT BNI Asset Management, later was officially spun off from PT BNI Securities in July 2011. BNI Securities still hold majority ownership (99.9%) of the subsidiary. PT BNI Securities itself is 75% owned by PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk., a state-owned bank and the fourth largest in the country.
