Saat ini BNI Life telah hadir melalui 4 saluran distribusi yaitu Agency, Bancassurance, Employee Benefits dan Syariah. Agency dipasarkan melalui agen-agen yang memasarkan produk individu, sedangkan Bancassurance dipasarkan melalui jaringan BNI di seluruh Indonesia. Terhitung sejak tanggal 9 Mei 2014, BNI Life telah menjadi perusahaan asuransi kehidupan (jiwa) joint venture dengan PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk tetap menjadi pemegang saham pengendali sebesar 60,000000%; Sumitomo Life Insurance Company memiliki 39.999993%; 0.000003% dimiliki oleh Yayasan Kesejahteraan Karyawan (YKP) BNI dan 0,000003% dimiliki oleh Yayasan Danar Dana Swadharma (YDD).
