Jeremy Knoll

Director Of Sustainability And Regenerative Design at BNIM

Jeremy Knoll has extensive experience in the architecture industry. Jeremy started their career in 2004 as a Staff Architect at PGAV Architects, where they worked on a $180M hotel project, overseeing various aspects including floor plans, drawings, and construction administration. During their time there, they also led the company's sustainability efforts and founded the Vision team, which focused on integrating LEED principles into projects. In 2012, Jeremy joined BNIM as a Project Architect/Manager and later became an Associate Principal. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Sustainability and Regenerative Design.

Jeremy Knoll's education history is as follows:

Jeremy Knoll attended St. Paul's Episcopal Dayschool from 1988 to 1996 for primary education, but did not earn any degrees or have a specific field of study during that time.

From 1996 to 2000, Knoll attended Paseo Academy of Fine and Performing Art and obtained a degree in Visual Arts. Jeremy'sstudies focused on painting, drawing, sculpture, and other artistic mediums.

Knoll then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture at Washington University in St. Louis from 2000 to 2004.

In 2003, they participated in a study abroad program at DIS, where they furthered their studies in Architecture.

From 2015 to 2016, Knoll pursued a Master's degree in Architecture at Kansas State University.

In addition to their formal education, Knoll has obtained several certifications. In 2005, they became a LEED AP through the US Green Building Council. In 2011, they obtained the LEED AP Building Design & Construction (BD+C) certification. In 2016, Knoll received the SEED Professional certification from DesignCorps. Furthermore, in 2019, they obtained the Architect (AIA) certification from The American Institute of Architects, as well as the LEED Fellow certification from Green Business Certification, Inc. and the EnVision Sustainability Professional (ENV SP) certification from the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure.
