Rob Glass

Rob Glass has over 25 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, currently serving as an Advisory Scientist at Wolfspeed since September 1995, where previous positions included VP Technology/CTO and Executive Vice President Materials and Optoelectronics. In addition, Rob has been an Advisory Board Member at BNNano since January 2022 and worked as a Senior Research Scientist at Westinghouse Electric Corporation from November 1993 to September 1995, focusing on the growth of wide bandgap semiconductor materials. Earlier experience includes a role as a post-doctoral researcher at Linköping University from February 1992 to November 1993. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from North Carolina State University, a Master’s Degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Virginia, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech.
