Grzegorz Hansen

Grzegorz Hansen, PhD, has an extensive work experience in the banking and financial sector. Grzegorz is currently working as the Head of Cash Management Sales Bureau - Structured Transactions at BNP Paribas Bank Polska since March 2022. Previously, they served as a Product Owner at SAP Fioneer from November 2021 to March 2022. Grzegorz also owned Appelsin Consultancy from December 2020 to March 2022.

Before that, Grzegorz held various positions in different organizations. Grzegorz was the Deputy Head of Compliance Department at the Polish Financial Supervision Authority from March 2021 to September 2021. Grzegorz worked as a Consultant at BNP Paribas Bank Polska from December 2020 to March 2021. Prior to that, they held the role of Director for Transactional Banking Strategy and Development, Transactional Banking Department at mBank from May 2009 to November 2020. Grzegorz also served as the Head of Transactional Banking Department at Bank Millennium SA from January 2007 to April 2009.

Grzegorz has accumulated significant experience in transaction banking throughout their career. Grzegorz held positions at Bank BPH, where they served as the Deputy Head of Transaction Banking Area and later as the Head of Transaction Banking Products Department from December 2001 to January 2007. Grzegorz also worked as the Proxy of the Management Board and Project Manager for Cash Management at Bank Ochrony Srodowiska SA from June 2001 to December 2001. At ING Bank NV, Warsaw Branch, they held the position of Head of Product Development, Cash Management from June 1997 to June 2001.

Grzegorz Hansen holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Warsaw, which they obtained in 1995. In the same year, they also completed a non-degree program in Housing Finance at The Wharton School. Prior to that, they earned an M.A. in Philosophy from the University of Warsaw in the period of 1983-1989. Grzegorz has a background in Applied Mechanics, having received an M.Sc. Eng. degree from Warsaw University of Technology from 1981-1986. Grzegorz Hansen attended XVIIth College in Warsaw from 1977 to 1981 and completed their primary education at the 75th Primary School in Warsaw from 1969 to 1977. Grzegorz has also acquired several additional certifications, including training in Design Thinking, REST APIs, OWASP Top 10, Scrum Master, and others.
