Joanna Ostrowska - Szajnfeld has over 16 years of work experience, starting in 2004 as an IT Senior Consultant at Deloitte, where they provided consulting services to financial sector companies. At Deloitte, they specialized in IT systems implementations, process optimizations, and change management.

In 2009, Joanna joined Nordea as the Operations Director - Transformation Lead. In this role, they led complex change management initiatives, successfully transforming the customer service function and eliminating technology gaps. Joanna also established and managed the Strategic Project Management office, achieving significant improvements in time-to-market and reducing outsourcing costs.

From 2014 to 2020, Joanna served as the Operations Director - Transformation Lead at PKO Ubezpieczenia, a General and Life Insurance Company. Joanna was responsible for customer services, core system development, and overall operations. During their tenure, they delivered an end-to-end insurance core-system implementation, scaled up operations services to support 10x volume growth, and optimized critical processes through digitalization.

Since 2020, Joanna has been with BNP Paribas Bank Polska, first as the IT Governance & Growth Department Director and currently as the IT Strategy, Architecture, and Governance Line Managing Director. In their current position, they are responsible for core banking transformation, agile governance, and IT finance & performance management.

Throughout their career, Joanna has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a focus on driving strategic transformations and achieving business growth.

Joanna Ostrowska - Szajnfeld has a diverse education history. Joanna attended the University of Warsaw from 2000 to 2005, where they obtained a Master's degree in Economics. In 2003 to 2004, they received a scholarship to study at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, focusing on the Faculty of Economics. In 2005 to 2006, they pursued Postgraduate studies in Information Technology for Business at SGH Warsaw School of Economics. Later on, in 2014 to 2015, they attended the IESE Business School for the Advanced Management Program. Alongside their academic qualifications, Joanna also holds additional certifications, including Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) from Prosci, ITIL v3 from AXELOS Global Best Practice, Scrum Product Owner Certified (SPOC) from Scrum.org, and TOGAF® Certification Program from The Open Group.
