Lionel Joubaud

Lionel Joubaud serves as the Global Head of the Factoring Filière at BNP Paribas since January 2012, with additional roles including Head of Compliance for French Retail Banking and Head of Retail Banking Branches in Loire Atlantique and Vendée, overseeing a business unit of 56 branches and more than 300 staff. Prior to these positions, Joubaud was the Deputy Head of French Retail Banking for corporate clients, functioning as Chief Operating Officer responsible for budget management and compliance implementation, and also served as Deputy Head of a business center focused on large corporate and institutional clients. Joubaud's experience includes advisory roles in the Ministry for Budget, regulation of health insurance budgets, and heading the health products department for the Social Security Department. Earlier career highlights include serving as Deputy Head in environmental protection for the DRIRE Nord Pas de Calais, managing compliance for 1,500 industrial sites with a team of 245. Educational qualifications include degrees from Mines Paris - PSL and École Polytechnique.
