Girish Shahapurkar started their work experience as a Management Trainee at Syngenta Seeds in 2005. Girish then worked as a Financial Planning and Analyst at Honeywell Automation India Limited from 2006 to 2010. Girish later became the Regional Finance Leader for the Sensing & Control Business unit at Honeywell from 2010 to 2012. After that, they worked as a Financial Controller at Andreas Stihl Pvt. Ltd. from 2012 to 2015. Since 2015, Girish has been working as a Proprietor at CA Girish Shahapurkar & CO. Most recently, they took on the role of CFO at BNT SOFT in 2018.
Girish Shahapurkar completed their High School education from Hindustan Antibiotics School between 1991 and 1995. Girish then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Commerce degree at Garware College of Commerce from 1997 to 2000. Afterwards, Girish attended ICAI from 1999 to 2005, where they obtained a CA degree with a specialization in Finance. Additionally, they pursued an MBA in Finance from the Department of Management Sciences, University of Pune, between 2002 and 2004.
