Adam Vos

CEO, BNY Mellon Markets at BNY Mellon

Adam is Chief Executive Officer of BNY Mellon Markets and Execution Services, responsible for setting the strategic direction for the firm’s Foreign Exchange, Fixed Income & Equities, Securities Finance, Liquidity Services and Outsourced Trading businesses.

Adam is a seasoned financial professional, with more than two decades of experience in global capital markets. He has held senior leadership positions at some of the world’s largest and most sophisticated financial institutions.

Previous to BNY Mellon, Adam served in a number of leading positions at Deutsche Bank, most recently as Head of FX North America. Prior to relocating to New York in 2014, he spent more than a decade in London with Deutsche, during which time he held roles including Co-COO for FIC and Global Head of FX Forwards.

Adam holds a number of positions with industry advisory bodies. He is currently Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of the Global FX Division for the Global Financial Markets Association, which advocates for the efficient functioning of FX markets.

He also sits on the Federal Reserve Bank of New York’s Foreign Exchange Committee, which provides guidance and leadership to the global FX market.

Adam began his career as a trader at the Bank of New Zealand. He holds a Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) First Class Honours Degree from the University of Waikato, Hamilton, New Zealand.
