Brendan Walsh

Brendan Walsh is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in derivatives financial control and treasury markets. Currently serving as Senior Director and Head of Derivatives Financial Control at BNY since January 2011, Brendan also holds the position of Ireland Controller and Head of EMEA Treasury & Markets Finance. Prior to this, Brendan was the Chief Executive Officer and Director of Finance at BNY Mellon Clearing International Ltd. Brendan's career includes a role as Financial Controller at Barclays Capital, where responsibilities included overseeing finance for entities in Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia, as well as managing finance for the Sydney Branch. Earlier experience includes serving as Assistant Manager at ING, focusing on branch regulatory and statutory reporting. Brendan obtained a BA in Accounting and Finance from Dublin City University.
