Deniz Onal

Deniz Onal is a seasoned professional in cyber risk management and technology operations with over 25 years of experience. Currently serving as Director of Cyber Risk Management at BNY Mellon since September 2012, Deniz plays a key role in delivering cyber vulnerability reporting to the CIO and developing infrastructure-focused reports for governance and compliance. Prior experience at Goldman Sachs includes multiple vice president roles encompassing storage engineering, regulatory operations, technology risk management, and management of the firm’s strategic records program. Deniz's background also features early roles in IT administration at Breakaway Solutions and application programming at MEDITECH. An MBA in Entrepreneurship from Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business complements Deniz's technical expertise.
