Desmond Chin

Desmond Chin is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in credit advisory and risk management. Currently serving as Director and Principal of Credit Advisory at BNY Mellon since January 2020, Desmond engages in the structuring, underwriting, and analysis of complex credit transactions while overseeing credit quality for high-profile borrowers. Concurrently, Desmond has been an Adjunct Instructor in Credit Analysis at New York University since June 2014, focusing on curriculum design and course delivery. Prior experience includes senior roles at HSBC, where Desmond led credit approval for various business lines, and held significant positions at BNY Mellon Wealth Management and Wells Fargo.
