Joel Tachoir

Joel Tachoir currently serves as Senior Vice President of Application Development at BNY Mellon since April 2023. Prior to this role, Joel held the position of Director of IT for Student Affairs at Carnegie Mellon University from December 2013 to April 2023. Joel has extensive experience in the education sector, having also served as Director of Technology at West Mifflin Area School District from October 2007 to December 2013 and at South Allegheny School District from 2003 to 2007. Early in the career, Joel worked as a Programmer/Systems Analyst at the EXCEL Group from 2002 to 2003. Joel holds a Master's degree in Public Management with a focus on Management from Carnegie Mellon University (2017-2020) and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Bethany College (1998-2002).
