Leigh-Ann Russell

Leigh-Ann Russell is a seasoned professional with a robust background in engineering and technology leadership. Currently serving as the Global Head of Engineering and CIO at BNY, Russell also holds the position of Professor of Practice at Queen's University Belfast and is a Non-Executive Director at Hill and Smith Holdings PLC. Previously, Russell has held significant roles at bp, including Chief Technology and Innovation Officer and Chief Supply Chain Officer, along with a focus on upstream operations. Early in the career, Russell worked as a Senior Production Technologist at Helix RDS. Russell earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Aberdeen from 1992 to 1997.
