Marina Tyazhelkova

Marina Tyazhelkova is a seasoned professional in learning and leadership development with extensive experience in transforming organizational learning cultures. Currently serving as the Managing Director and Global Head of Learning and Leadership Development at BNY Mellon since March 2015, Marina has successfully implemented a comprehensive learning strategy that achieved a 75% utilization rate for a new learning platform shortly after its launch. Previously, Marina held leadership roles at JPMorgan Chase & Co., including Head of Global Finance Training and Talent & Executive Development Leader, where innovative talent management processes were developed. Earlier career experience includes positions at MetLife (ALICO), Capital H Group, and Synnecta NV, focusing on organizational effectiveness, human capital consulting, and change management. Marina holds two Master of Sciences degrees from The New School and a diploma in English and German Linguistics from Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia.
