Michael Canfield

Michael Canfield is a seasoned tax professional with extensive experience in both legal and financial sectors. Currently serving as Senior Vice President at BNY since April 2020, Michael has held various significant positions including Fiduciary Tax Senior Manager at Deloitte from August 2015 to April 2020, and Tax Compliance Advisor for Asia at Standard Chartered Bank for a brief period in 2015. Prior to these roles, Michael was Vice President and Tax Counsel at J.P. Morgan, and practiced as an Attorney at David C. Pettig & Associates and Nixon Peabody. Michael holds a Juris Doctor degree from Boston University School of Law and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame.
