Ryan Wells

Ryan Wells is a seasoned communications professional currently serving as the Global Head of Media Relations at BNY since November 2022, while also leading communications for Securities Services & Digital and Market & Wealth Services. Prior to this role, Ryan was the Head of Growth Communications at Splunk from November 2021 to July 2022 and spent nearly a decade at Nasdaq, progressing from Director to Managing Director of Communications between July 2012 and November 2021. Ryan's earlier experience includes positions at Burson-Marsteller as Manager of Corporate Practice and at PUBLIC, NYC as Senior Account Executive. Ryan started a career in project coordination at Warwick Business School in early 2007. Educationally, Ryan holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Florida and a Master of Science in Management Information Systems from the University of Warwick.
