Sarthak Pattanaik

Sarthak Pattanaik, CFA, currently serves as Head of AI Hub and Head of Engineering for Digital Assets, Treasury, Clearance & Collateral at BNY since September 2013. In this role, Sarthak is responsible for developing and executing the artificial intelligence strategy and overseeing engineering groups in various sectors, including Digital Assets Custody and Treasury Services. Prior to BNY, Sarthak held multiple executive roles at Nomura from 2000 to 2013, focusing on risk analytics technology, where responsibilities included the development of global market, credit, and quantitative risk analytics systems compliant with regulatory standards such as Basel III. Sarthak holds an MBA in Finance and Systems from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, and a BTech in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
