Board of Child Care
Rochon Steward has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. They started their career at Battelle in 2005 as a Clinic Coordinator before moving on to become a Project Lead/Research Associate. In 2009, they joined the University of Maryland Baltimore as a Research Specialist and eventually became a Lead Clinical Research Specialist. They also served as an Acting Program Manager and a Program Manager during their tenure at the university. Currently, Rochon is the Director of Special Operations at the Board of Child Care, a position they started in 2022.
Rochon Steward holds a Masters of Social Work degree with a concentration in Macro/Clinical- Families and Children from the University of Maryland School of Social Work. They also earned a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Howard University. In 2017, Rochon obtained a Continuing Education Certificate in Mixed Methods Research from the University of Michigan. They have additional certifications in Project Management Foundations: Quality and Project Management Foundations: Requirements from LinkedIn. They also hold a Mixed Methods Research Certificate from the University of Michigan School of Social Work.
Board of Child Care
The Board of Child Care is a nonprofit organization that is enriching communities, one family at a time. They serve youth and their families across the Mid-Atlantic. Their goal is to build a bridge leading to independence, success and confidence for children facing adverse life circumstances.
