Johannes Spaas

Johannes Spaas is an experienced sustainability professional currently serving as Sustainability Project Lead at Mantis Consulting since August 2022. In this role, Johannes supports clients in sustainability reporting, carbon footprinting, and life cycle assessments while demonstrating expertise in CSRD, GRI, GHG Protocol, and SBTi. Additionally, Johannes has held various training positions within the Board of European Students of Technology, progressing from Junior Trainer to Senior Trainer, delivering over 140 hours of soft skills training and coordinating trainings across Europe. Previous experience includes serving as Green Officer at Green Office Gent, where insights into university policy-making and facilitation skills were developed, and as President of the Board of European Students of Technology, leading a diverse team in strategic planning and partnership development. Johannes began a career as a Fashion Model, gaining valuable cultural adaptability and networking skills while working across multiple countries. Educational credentials include a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics from Ghent University.
