Randy Nord

Randy Nord is an experienced educator with a focus on Advanced Placement English and a strong background in English education. Currently serving as an AP English Teacher and Publications Assistant at Boardman Local Schools since 1991, Randy has demonstrated expertise in preparing students for the AP Language and Composition Exam through innovative lesson planning. Additionally, since 2016, Randy has been grading AP essays for Educational Testing Service (ETS) and operates as an independent ACT Test Tutor and Writing and Editing Professional, providing tailored tutoring and editing services. Randy began a teaching career at Eisenhower High School in Rialto, CA, after earning a Bachelor of Science degree in English education from Bowling Green State University and a Master's degree in Gifted Education from Youngstown State University.
