Operations Associate at Boardworks Education

Sally Gorrill has a long and varied work experience. Sally began their career in 2005 as a Recreation Specialist at Tassel Top Park. In 2010, they worked as an English Second Language Teacher at EF International Language Campuses. From 2010 to 2017, they were an Engineer Plans Officer, Project Manager, Construction Platoon Leader, and Assistant Operations Officer at the US Army. In 2017, they completed a training program as an intern called the Veterans Conservation Corps and was hired as a Forestry Technician at the U.S. Forest Service. Sally worked on three separate fire details in Montana, volunteered to work in California on the Thomas Fire, and worked on the Dilly Fire and the Spring Brook Fire in New Hampshire. Sally also patrolled and reported any infractions of forest protection regulations, assisted law enforcement officers in investigating law violations, and worked with the non-native invasive species department at New Boston Air Force Station. In 2021, they began working as an Operations Associate at Boardworks Education.

Sally Gorrill began their educational journey in 2005 when they obtained a Bachelors of Science in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from Boston University Wheelock College of Education & Human Development. In 2010, they earned a Master of Education - MEd in Mind, Brain and Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education. Currently, Sally is pursuing a Bach in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Arizona State University, which they are expected to complete in 2026. Additionally, Sally has obtained a certification in Introduction to Unity Development from Universe in March 2021.
