David Baird

David Baird is an accomplished tax professional with extensive experience in the mining services sector, currently serving as Tax Director at Boart Longyear since October 2006. In this role, David oversees the global provision for income taxes and provides international technical expertise in areas such as planning, compliance, transfer pricing, and treasury support, along with specialized knowledge in Subchapter C topics including acquisitions and mergers. Prior to Boart Longyear, David worked as a Senior Tax Manager at Haynie & Company and as an International Tax Manager at Grant Thornton LLP. David holds a Master of Accountancy degree with a focus on Taxation from Brigham Young University.
