Duncan Groves

Duncan Groves is a seasoned professional in the oil and gas industry with extensive experience in product management, operations, and engineering. Currently serving as the VP of Diamond Bits & Product Management at Boart Longyear, Duncan focuses on minimizing coring costs and enhancing client-focused solutions. Previously, Duncan held positions at Baker Hughes as Global Product Line Director, where responsibilities included integrating acquired technology and defining product line strategies, and at XACT Downhole Telemetry as Vice President of Operations, leading critical functions for a pioneering telemetry startup. With a strong background at National Oilwell Varco, Estrella International Energy Services, Schlumberger, and others, Duncan has demonstrated expertise in service delivery, quality management, and operational efficiency across diverse regions and technological challenges. Duncan earned a BSc in Physics with Computational Physics from the University of Bath.
