Ermanno Simonutti

Ermanno Simonutti currently serves as President of Drilling Products at Boart Longyear since November 2023. Prior experience includes the role of Regional Managing Director - North America at Weir Minerals, overseeing 1,000 employees and holding full P&L responsibility from May 2021 to November 2023. Simonutti spent over two decades at ESCO Corporation, where leadership positions included Vice President of Global Sales and Vice President of Products, Engineering, and Marketing, managing teams across multiple regions and product lines. Early career experience features roles as General Manager of the ESCO Hydra Mining Division and various product management positions in dragline and industrial products. Academic qualifications include an MBA from Antwerp Management School and advanced degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington and Montana State University-Bozeman.
