Kate Lardy is an accomplished editor and writer with extensive experience in the superyacht and luxury lifestyle sectors. Currently self-employed since February 2017, Lardy also serves as a contributing editor for Boat International Media since May 2017. Prior to this, Lardy held the position of editor for ShowBoats International, a prominent magazine in the superyacht industry, from March 2011 to February 2017. Lardy was the editor in chief at Dockwalk, overseeing both the monthly magazine and website dedicated to superyacht crew from June 2005 to March 2011. Lardy holds a Bachelor's degree in Cultural Anthropology from James Madison University, completed in 1993.
