Shaina Allison Lurie has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Shaina Allison began their career as an Intern in the Office of Communication at the University of Hartford in 2009. Shaina Allison then worked as a Sales Lead Associate at Chico's FAS Inc. from 2006 to 2010, followed by a role as a Sales Lead Manager at White House Black Market from 2009 to 2010.
In 2010, Shaina joined the Flynn Center for the Performing Arts as an Innovation Lab Member, where they represented Champlain College and participated in a 6-month Innovation Lab. Shaina Allison also worked as a Project Manager at Champlain College's Emergent Media Center, managing real-world projects for international clients.
In 2012, Shaina worked as an Advertising Coordinator at Burlington Free Press, where they offered various advertising products. Shaina Allison then pursued a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Emergent Media at Champlain College from 2010 to 2012, which provided their with a rigorous experience in media, technology, and design.
Shaina's digital media career began in 2013 when they joined Gannett as a Digital Account Manager. Shaina Allison then worked as a Digital Coordinator at Blitz Media from 2013 to 2014. Since 2014, they have been with Boathouse, starting as a Digital Media Assistant and progressing to roles such as Digital Media Planner/Buyer, Digital Media Supervisor, and currently as a Media Investments Manager.
Shaina Allison Lurie earned a BA in Advertising and Public Relations from the University of Hartford, where they studied from 2007 to 2010. Following that, they pursued an MFA in Emergent Media at Champlain College from 2010 to 2012. In February 2013, they obtained a certification in Google AdWords from Gannett Corporate.
