Allen Bettilyon

Allen Bettilyon has extensive experience in the IT field, having held various technical and leadership roles throughout their career. Allen began their career as a Systems Engineer at Aros.net in 1999 before moving to About.com in 2000 as a Senior Network/Systems Engineer. In 2001, they joined Primedia as a Sr Network/Systems Engineer and then moved to United Online in 2003 as a Manager of Network/Systems Engineering. In 2004, they joined Overstock.com, where they held multiple roles as Director of Network/Systems, Architect, and Senior Director of Software Development until 2015. In 2015, they worked briefly as Vice President of Engineering at Movement Ventures before founding 4tap, LLC in 2016. In the same year, they also worked as Senior Director of Technology and Vice President of Technology at Sorenson Media. In 2019, they joined Amazon Web Services as a Senior Technical Account Manager and then became Head of Infrastructure at Boats Group in 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Technology Officer at the same company.

From 1994 to 1996, Allen Bettilyon attended the University of Utah but did not graduate with a degree nor did they pursue any particular field of study.
