Vorleak Chy

Vorleak Chy has been working in software engineering since 2005. In 2005, they worked as a Software Developer at Interquess Enterprises, where they oversaw development and maintenance of a Cambodian web portal. Vorleak then joined Yoolk Inc in 2007, where they held the role of Lead Software Engineer, Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer. During their time at Yoolk, they played a key leadership role in software development projects using Agile methodologies and managing the full lifecycle. Vorleak also oversaw concept design, analysis, and development of application software/new software features, researched and bootstrapped a project from scratch, and created RESTful web services payment system which connected to core API. In 2018, Vorleak joined Knit People as a Software Engineer, where they performed the role of full stack engineer on the Payroll and HR product team. Finally, in 2019, they joined Boatsetter as a Software Engineer.

Vorleak Chy earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Royal University of Phnom Penh in 2005. Vorleak then went on to earn a Master's degree in Computer Science from Maharishi International University in 2020.
