Declan McGurk

Declan McGurk has a diverse work experience in the hospitality industry. Declan began their career as a bartender at square on the lane in 1999 and worked there until 2002. Declan then joined Arc Inspirations as a Bars Development Manager and stayed in that role until 2010. After that, Declan worked at Speciality Brands as a Brand Ambassador from 2010 to 2013. In 2013, they joined The Savoy as the Director of Bars and held that position until 2020. Currently, they are the Commercial Director at The Boatyard Distillery, a role they assumed in October 2020.

Declan McGurk attended Kirkham Grammar School from 1992 to 1999. After completing their secondary education, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology/Earth Science at the University of Leeds from 1999 to 2002.
